I did watch the full interview with the context around his comment and I know that it was in regard to the RNC using that (which was true – he has Muslim roots) and his slip-up was in fact just that – a slip up and a big one (there was nothing sarcastic or however you want to spin it, about it). The fact that Stepanopolous had to correct him and help him out in that clip is very telling. I don’t care if you are Muslim or grew up that way or not – but I have a really big problem if you try to hide something – that is always very suspicious to me. Obama had Muslim roots and lived in Indonesia as a child and traveled around Pakistan in the 80′s. You had to be of Muslim decent during that time… I find it incredibly disturbing, not to mention, disgusting – that none of this was investigated by the media – nobody vetted him as a candidate and he is now kowtowing to the Muslim world! Should we also not be weary that he was the candidate of Wall Street as well as the candidate who is in the pockets of Soros and other big hedge fund guys/socialists? Why is it ok for Iran to have nuclear energy and not the United States (per his speech in the UK yesterday)? Every single politician is a scam artist and Obama is the biggest one I have seen yet – I was not a Bush or Clinton fan and quite frankly I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. I finally saw a candidate who I really liked and felt was of the people and not about MONEY or POWER but heaven forbid we have somebody that could actually reform the corruption – and she was demonized and damaged by the press (who is also in the pockets of politicians) – our government has become the most corrupt sham EVER and I’m sick and tired of all of them.

In the interview with Stephanopolous, the President (then candidate) was referring to the accusations, coming from the RNC, that he was really a Muslim (even though at the same time he was being hammered for his relationship with his pastor’s personal opinions (which I, too, found most offensive). He was stating that he believed that Senator McCain had no part of it – no slip-up (watch the entire interview)> As for Iran’s nuclear ambitions, they acquired their most of their nuclear technology from France and Germany – our so-called allies just out to make a buck -sales of which began under the presidency of Bush 1 & continued through Clinton & Bush 2 – and we did nothing to stop our NATO “allies.” Our so-called partner in the War on Terror Pakistan sold and traded nuclear technology to North Korea in exchange for their missile technology so they could combine the two & threaten their enemy India – again, this began under Bush 1, through Clinton, and was finalized before Sept. 11th. Again, America did nothing while one of our “friends” screwed us just to make a buck. It’s long past time we hold our allies accountable when their greed endangers the world & counters American policy. Maybe we can ask them to pay us back all we gave them under the Marshall Plan, maybe remind them to visit the graves of Americans on their soil who died for their freedom.
