A hydraulic empire, also known as a hydraulic despotism or water monopoly empire, is a social or government structure which maintains power and control through exclusive control over access to water. It arises through the need for flood control and irrigation, which requires central coordination and a specialized bureaucracy.
Please stand up for us and save our country. We are so close to losing what our founders intended us to be we need SOMEONE to stand up and speak for us. The federal government needs to be corraled and stopped before it is too late. This water control is (as you say) just one more way to make independent and sovereign states irrelevant – we may as well be just one united state. That is unthinkable!
