Jihad is Real and It’s Still in New York

I haven’t heard much on the recent arrest and thwarting of a terror plot in New York City aimed at decimating Jewish Synagogues and community centers, but it took place earlier this week.  Nary a peep or a whimper from the anti-American mainstream media, because heaven forbid we let the American people know that there is still a major islamo-fascist threat even on our own soil.

The media elite should be ashamed of themselves, but they don’t want anyone to really find out how politically biased they are, so they would rather put people’s lives in danger than let them know the truth;  that national security is not a joke and it’s quite necessary for our future survival.

Four New York men were arrested Wednesday in connection with an alleged plot to blow up area Jewish centers and military targets. The plot, however, was foiled by undercover agents.

Raids by the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force in the Bronx captured the suspected ringleader and three followers in what law enforcement sources are calling a homegrown terrorist plot.

Agents and police watched Wednesday night as the suspects allegedly planted what they thought were bombs outside two Jewish community centers in Riverdale, a Bronx, New York neighborhood. In one case the suspected terrorists planted a bomb inside a parked car.  However, officials said the suspects were actually using fake explosives given to them in an earlier sting operation to make sure they didn’t get their hands on real bombs.

“The bombs had been made by the FBI technicians, they were totally inert, no one was ever at risk,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

The FBI said the Muslim suspects were angry and full of hate for America.

“Hatred of the West. The leader of the group, James Cromitie was concerned about deaths at the hands of the U.S. military in Afghanistan,” and also expressed anti-Jewish sentiment, Joseph Demarest the head of the New York FBI said.

According to the criminal complaint, Cromitie said “I hate those f-ing Jewish bastards.” He bragged that it would be a “piece of cake” to bomb a Jewish Center in Riverdale, according to the complaint.

Cromitie was the first to approach the informant, authorities said.  He told the informant he has ties to the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad.  Authorities said Cromitie had 27 past arrests and had recently been working at a nation-wide discount retailer, authorities said.

Several of the suspects have previously been arrested on drug charges and may have converted to Islam in prison, authorities said.

Another shining example of the religion of peace.  And what was it that Obama and his liberal buddies in congress said about moving the Gitmo Muslims into prisons? It wouldn’t cause any problems?  Prisons have become a breeding ground for islamo-fascism…

MM has more info and data regarding this recent terror threat and other data regarding our prisons and Radical Islam.

After a year-long investigation launched by the Bush administration, the feds cracked down on a ring of murder-minded black Muslim jailhouse converts preparing to bomb two Bronx synagogues and “eager to bring death to Jews.” They also planned to attack a New York National Guard air base in Newburgh, New York, where the suspects lived and worshiped at a local mosque.

Not one word from the president on the jihadists’ intended victims, motives, or means.

No comfort for the reported targets in the Big Apple, still raw from the Scare Force One rattling that so vainly and recklessly simulated 9/11.

No condemnation for the accused plotters.

Why? Because doing so would force Obama to abandon his cottony “extremist ideology” euphemisms and confront the concrete truth. To borrow one of our obtuse president’s favorite clichés, “let me be perfectly clear” about the reality Obama won’t touch: America faces an ongoing Islamic jihad at home and abroad. Not merely “man-caused.” But Koran-inspired. Yet, Obama refuses to spell out the centuries-old roots of the war that he claims he’ll win faster, better, and cleaner than any of his predecessors.

This reminds me of personal stories when somebody gets injured or has an illness… He/She hates doctors and thinks that if he/she continues to avoid the problem or the inevitable, turning a blind eye to the situation, it will just go away.  However, the opposite usually happens, without proper treatment the malady gets worse until sometimes it becomes too late…

Yikes! What do you think?

Miss California Keeps Her Title!

Carrie Prejean has finally been exonerated.  Not like she should have been held to some unobtainable standard to begin with, but when you are a conservative, and religious at that, liberals feel as though you must either be 100% pure or you’re a hypocrite.

The liberal argument is basically about standards, if you dont’ have any you can’t be held accountable, so needless to say, those that stand on principles will incessantly get harassed by the media and the activists, waiting for the slightest mistake.

Carrie Prejean took photos for a modeling shoot, just as many other females have, who try to get into a career that pertains to beauty and looks.  I think the photos were actually very tasteful and they didn’t show any private body parts nor was she ever fully undressed.  I’m not sure where liberals get off trying to publicly galvanize this woman just for doing a photo shoot to get ahead in her field.  Kathy Ireland is a conservative and incredibly religious for that matter, but nobody made a stink when she was all over the covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.  What about all those other celebrities that actually undress themselves and literally pose nude on the cover of Maxim, Playboy, etc.?  It’s ok because they don’t profess to be spiritual or believe in God?  If that’s the case I feel very sorry for those individuals.  They are truly missing out on a wonderful aspect of life that fills many voids I currently see in today’s society.

What amuses me most is the fact that liberals never catch onto the fact that Christian conservatives do not claim to be perfect, in fact it is quite the opposite.  We are trying to be more God-like and live a life similar to that of the apostle Paul (if I could choose an example).  Jesus believed in redemption and treated those who had fallen away and sinned, but came back, as his children.  The prodigal sons and daughters were always the closest to the heart of Jesus.  The only perfect entity in this world is God and it is us mere mortals who attempt to emulate as best we can his teachings, although we know we fall way short.  The only people who have difficulty understanding this concept are those who are either averse to the truth or fear that there may really be some higher power greater than themselves and their ideology.

I was happy to hear that earlier today Donald Trumpmade a statement that dropped the “charges” against Carrie Prejean and she was “allowed” to keep her title as Miss California. I hope she continues to be a champion of the 1st amendment and speaks her mind in a very mature and inviting way.  She deserves to be herself and believe in the things she does without being lambasted by those who feel differently.  Donald Trump made the ironic remark that “We are living in the 21st century…” basically telling all the critics to get a life and get real.  This is America, we are all allowed to have our own opinions, let’s hope that we never lose that.  Freedom is not free…

Oh and liberals… are you going to go after Obambi for his opinion that marriage is only between one man and one woman? —— Crickets…

Carrie, yet again, spoke very well during the press conference today, and here is the part that made me choke up… because of the truth in her words!

Hawaii Backs the Creation of Islam Day…

Hawaii’s state Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday to celebrate “Islam Day”over the objections of a few lawmakers who said they didn’t want to honor a religion connected to Sept. 11, 2001.

The Senate’s two Republicans argued that a minority of Islamic extremists have killed many innocents in terrorist attacks.

“I recall radical Islamists around the world cheering the horrors of 9/11. That is the day all civilized people of all religions should remember,” said Republican Sen. Fred Hemmings to the applause of more than 100 people gathered in the Senate to oppose a separate issue — same-sex civil unions.

The resolution to proclaim Sept. 24, 2009, as Islam Day passed the Senate on a 22-3 vote. It had previously passed the House and now goes to Republican Gov. Linda Lingle.

The bill seeks to recognize “the rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions” that Islam and the Islamic world have made. It does not call for any spending or organized celebration of Islam Day.

But Republican Sen. Sam Slom argued that the United States has become too sympathetic toward Islamic extremists.

I wonder if Linda Lingle will sign this into law… ugh… probably.

The day of Sept. 24, 2009 is a little too close to 9/11 for me.  I’m a little uncomfortable recognizing “Islam Day” because many in the Middle East (if you have seen their propaganda or listened to their speeches translated) are still calling for the destruction of the great Evil, the West, and most notably the United States and the extermination of Israel… but we should recognize Islam Day in September.  Why don’t we have a Christian Day or a Catholic Day?  Why don’t the atheists protest Islam?  It is a religion!

I’m sure Pamela Geller has several opinions on this… www.atlasshrugs.com

Israel; Obama’s Red-Headed Step Child

In the past couple of days, more has come to light with Obama’s stance, or lack there of, for support of Israel, compared to the rest of the Middle East and in particular, Iran and Palestine.

The Obama administration, namely Rahm Emanuel, also holds similar beliefs, which may strike some as odd, due to the fact that Rahm is Jewish.  However, Rahm insisted on Monday that the only way to thwart Iran’s nuclear threat and resolve relations with the Middle East would come to fruition through Palestinian-Israeli talks.

Israeli TV stations had reported Monday night that Emanuel had actually linked the two matters, saying that the efforts to stop Iran hinged on peace talks with the Palestinians. The remarks were reportedly made in a closed-door meeting previous day with 300 major AIPAC donors on Sunday.

Last month, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Israel that it risks losing Arab support for combating threats from Iran if it rejects peace negotiations with the Palestinians.

Clinton said Arab nations had conditioned helping Israel counter Iran on Jerusalem’s commitment to the peace process.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Jerusalem Post on Sunday, former US House speaker Newt Gingrich blasted the Obama administration for setting itself on a collision course with Israel and endangering the Jewish state.

He called US President Barack Obama’s program of engagement with Iran a “fantasy,” and his Middle East policies “very dangerous for Israel.” He summed up Obama’s approach as “the clearest adoption of weakness since Jimmy Carter.”

And Newt is right, we should have learned our lesson after Carter, but we didn’t.  One could then argue that we should have learned it after Clinton tried this same peace treaty mumbo-jumbo between Palestine and Israel. (The Oslo Accord in 1993 and the Wye River Memorandum).  Later we came to find out that Yasir Arafat spoke out of both sides of his mouth and eventually was caught speaking at PLO and Hamas engagements/rallies. (But by then he had already received the Nobel Peace Prize)

If liberals are so adamant about the United States staying out of the business of other nations (their biggest qualm for the last 8 years was Iraq and forcing democracy) then why is forcing a treaty, peace, or a recognized state on a nation ok?

What causes those that are so progressive to think that Iran and other nations, that have continuously ranted and raved about the Jews and Israel, would ever want peace?  Middle Eastern history has a very large Nazi influence and therefore, they have called for the extermination of Jews, and the West.  There is something seriously wrong with a situation in which people cannot call a spade a spade and see the threat that is in front of their very eyes.

Take for example the latest; Ahmadinejad went on another tirade about Israel yesterday:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad slammed Zionism as “occupation” and “aggression” Tuesday as he delivered his latest diatribe against the Jewish state on a visit to key Middle East ally Syria.

Zionism is merely the recognition of the Jewish state based on biblical times.  The state of Israel was promised to the Jews before WWII and before others in the Middle East occupied the region.  Israelis do not try to force themselves onto other nations by attempting to conquer the rest of the Middle East or enforce their religion on others – that’s the main difference and the reason why Ahmadinejad cannot be taken seriously.

“The Zionist occupiers are destructive microbes, because Zionism itself is occupation, aggression, the use of assassination and annihilation,” he told a joint news conference with President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian capital.

“Zionism was created to threaten us. To support the Palestinian resistance is a humanitarian and popular obligation,” Ahmadinejad said in remarks in Farsi that were translated into Arabic.

“Syria and Iran are united in supporting the Palestinian resistance.”

The Iranian president’s comments came barely two weeks after he sparked a European walkout from a UN anti-racism conference in Geneva by equating Zionism with racism.

This intolerance does not help the cause in the Middle East and it only raises more eyebrows from the majority of the public who do not define themselves as progressive or liberal.  This is not the way to show you are ready for peace.  Even if some peace accord was met, it would be hard for me to believe that Iran and others would not continue to hold their “thousand” year grudge against Israel and have the same anti-Semitic sentiments.

Ahmadinejad asked why it was the Islamist Hamas movement which controls Gaza that is blacklisted by the European Union and the United States, and not Israel after its devastating offensive against the territory at the turn of the year.

“They’ve attacked Gaza, killing people in their own land and massacring women and children… and yet it’s the Palestinians they accuse of terrorism,” he complained.

Maybe because Israel didn’t initiate attacks?  Maybe they retaliated in a more powerful way to stop the thousands of missiles from entering their country and endangering their citizens?  Hamas sent over 3,000 missiles into Israeli airspace over the course of last year.

Israelis have also evacuated the Gaza strip and it is Palestinians that use their own for propaganda purposes reporting deaths in the region and accuse Israelis of those crimes.  The main difference between Hamas and the Palestinians and the Israelis is that Israelis do not use women and children as shields, they use themselves to shield their women and children – I respect that more than the prior.

The United States “has put pressure on Syria and Iran, but it needs us and wants to develop relations,” he said.

The scariest statement by Ahmadinejad is the following:

“Circumstances are changing rapidly in our favour. We are on the road to victory.”

That should give you the chills!

The appeasement and call for universal nuclear disarmament is another alarming policy change on the horizon.  This step to disarm would include Israel’s nukes, which would cause an inevitable disaster, leaving Israel completely vulnerable to any and all attacks on their soil by countries like Iran who are not a party to the United Nations or any other international treaties.

President Obama’s efforts to curb the spread of nuclear weapons threaten to expose and derail a 40-year-old secret U.S. agreement to shield Israel’s nuclear weapons from international scrutiny, former and current U.S. and Israeli officials and nuclear specialists say.

The issue will likely come to a head when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with Mr. Obama on May 18 in Washington. Mr. Netanyahu is expected to seek assurances from Mr. Obama that he will uphold the U.S. commitment and will not trade Israeli nuclear concessions for Iranian ones.

Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller, speaking Tuesday at a U.N. meeting on the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), said Israel should join the treaty, which would require Israel to declare and relinquish its nuclear arsenal.

“Universaladherence to the NPT itself, including by India, Israel, Pakistan and North Korea, … remains a fundamental objective of the United States,” Ms. Gottemoeller told the meeting, according to Reuters.

She declined to say, however, whether the Obama administration would press Israel to join the treaty.

A senior White House official said the administration considered the nuclear programs of Israel and Iran to be unrelated “apples and oranges.”

Apples and oranges?  The weapons programs may be different as far as quality and caliber, but if you continue to let Iran build up its nuclear facilities, centrifuges, and uranium/plutonium supplies, it will be sure to catch up – especially whilst Israel is vulnerable and doesn’t have the weaponry to defend itself anymore.

AIPAC, the strongest pro-Israeli lobby in the nation and on Capitol Hill, is on the case and working to fight the urgent push from the Obama administration to create a Palestinian state.

US congressional leaders and the most powerful pro-Israel lobby group in the US are attempting to forestall a significant shift in the White House’s Middle East policy.

The move comes amid growing signs that the US president, Barack Obama, intends to press for urgent efforts to be made towards the creation of a Palestinian state.

The Israeli prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, is visiting Washington later this month amid growing expectations that Obama is preparing to take a tougher line over Israel’s reluctance to actively seek a two-state solution to its conflict with the Palestinians.

It will be the first time that Netanyahu and Obama have met since both were elected.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac) this week sent hundreds of lobbyists to urge members of Congress to sign a letter to Obama.

The letter, written by two House of Representatives leaders, calls for Israel to be allowed to set the pace of negotiations.

I would agree, that the pace of negotiations for an international issue be set by the countries involved, not the United States.

Maybe the issue here is that too many progressives have gotten the jihad hip-hop bug.  I hear it’s hard to ignore!/sarc.
