Carville Has A Point-Republicans are good for a chuckle
Liberal attack dog, James Carville, has come out against the GOP to drum up support for the Democrat Governors Association with a fund raising email.
Who is James Carville other than a foul little liberal troll? Carville’s only claim to fame was taking the small town Arkansas Governor, William Jefferson Clinton, and propelling him to the White House in the early 1990’s.
Carville’s “War Room” focus was:
1- Change vs. more of the same
2- The economy, stupid
3- Don’t forget health care.
Sound familiar?
In 2008, Carville came back into politics for Hillary Clinton in her campaign for the highest office. After Hillary lost the West Virginia primary Carville said he was ready to open his wallet in order to build a “war chest” for Barack Obama to beat John McCain.
Now on to the email sent out to day for the Democratic Governors Association.
They are worried they and they are on the attack. Instead of going after Rush, now they are hitting at our own Governors. The first sentence slams the GOP and President Bush in a one fell hilarious swoop.
“You’ve got to hand it to the Republicans: they may have wrecked our economy, trampled on our Constitution, and trashed our country’s reputation — but they’re always good for a chuckle.”
Oh really? a good chuckle? For all of us lost in the wilderness Conservative Republican types his statement is ringing true at this point. Our party is a joke. We cannot seem to find our behinds let alone formulate any kind of come back. It sucks when I have to agree to a snake like Carville but, I do.
We have Steele, who cannot decide if he is a Hip Hop Republican or a Dem in the hood. Lets get this straight, wasn’t he supposed to bring us out of the wilderness? I think my next article will have to be on the Hip Hopper in charge of our party.
I have to give it to the DNC, they know how to fire up their base and keep it up. They are rotten nasty little trolls who don’t mind trashing anyone and everyone who gets in their way.
Didn’t we used to know how to do that? Nowadays any email I get from the RNC is a snooze fest, ‘we need money but we don’t know why cuz we don’t know what we are going to do with it but give it to us, please.’
“Republican governors like Sanford are selling their states down the river to suck up to the likes of O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh. And now the GOP is gunning to win enough governorships to hijack the congressional redistricting process that will follow the 2010 census — to derail President Obama’s agenda for change and spread Sanford’s brand of so-called “compassionate conservatism” across our entire country.”
Hijacking, yes that’s us, hijacking the Governorships of states. Carville fails to understand that Republicans always out number Democrats as far as Governors. Nor does he seem to understand our brand of “compassionate conservatism” is far better than their brand of Liberalism. Or, that most of Americans hold conservative views.
Sucking up to the media are we? WOW! I thought only the Democrats sucked up to the media. Our little one station suck up party is really upsetting the Dems now, huh?
“To jam a stick in their spokes, the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) needs your immediate help to meet its $50,000 May fundraising goal. And if you contribute by midnight tomorrow, your gift will be matched by a leading DGA supporter — doubling the impact of your support.”
“Jam a stick in their spokes,” so intelligent there Carville. Your particular brand of venom is not amusing to most of us out here on main street – in either party. I have to give it to you though, you sure know how to talk to the illiterate Acorn workers, don’t you now?
“And Sanford is just one of the GOP governors selling out working families for partisan political gain. His buddy Rick Perry in Texas is another Republican who’s always “looking out for the little guy.” Right now he’s showing his compassion for Texans put out of work by the recession by rejecting $556 million in federal stimulus funds that would expand unemployment benefits. But he’s not against accepting all stimulus money — in fact, just last week he approved spending $11 million of it to repair the governor’s mansion. Talk about middle-class values!
But wait James. We the little guys don’t want that money or, aren’t you listening to us?
Watch out now, James. Some of us are waking up. So you just keep it up and the “sleeping giant” that is the American people will just have to snatch you and your party up and shake you a bit.
“The shenanigans of Perry, Sanford, and other Republican governors like Sarah Palin — who last week vetoed $28.6 million in federal stimulus funds aimed at promoting energy efficiency — are just a preview of what our entire country will face if the GOP gains control of the redistricting process and cheats Americans out of fair representation in Congress.”
Cheating now James? Come on. Who really is the cheater here? Not your guys, no… you did not totally steal an election by playing the racial fear card.
Last I checked, we are the party of Lincoln and MLK. We freed the slaves not the KKK party (oops, the Democrats).
In my humble opinion, the Republicans need to get a focus. Get a true leader not a wanna be Hip Hop Democrat like Steele. We need a voice and Steele sure is not that voice. We can raise all the money we want but without a clear vision and a mission statement what are we gonna do with that money?
Let’s send a message like Carville’s to Steele and the Republican party, “Get your collective asses in gear before We The People fire you!” Let’s put a stick in their spokes and throw them out if they don’t do what we want them to!
Oh, there I go again agreeing with James the troll Carville. It stinks, I know, but maybe we need to take a page out of his book. Fight hard. Let’s not be afraid to “spill the blood of tyrants” (I am not advocating violence or anything here, well maybe I am, No I suppose I’m not. ) Let’s get dirty. Let’s get nasty and take our country back from the likes of James Carville and his Ilk.
National Sales Tax Anyone?
Sounds like our very own EU VAT coming to the U. S. of A. How lucky we are that the usual common sense of Congress and the President is kicking in! When the economy is recessed and there is the possibility it could get worse with an impending bond implosion or inflation in the coming months, why not raise taxes on everyone?
I know that liberals see this as a great idea. They can raise taxes on all those evil fat-cats, actually wind up hurting the middle and lower class, all to pay for their own fiscally irresponsible habits.
As lawmakers toy with the idea of an across-the-board sales tax on just about everything, tax reform advocates are starting to drum up opposition with the same fervor they employed during last month’s anti-tax tea parties.
The idea of a national sales tax was once unlikely. But now that the federal government is doling out billions in stimulus spending and bailouts, and looking for billions more for health care reform, the prospect could be gaining some traction.
The frenzy over the idea kicked up after a Washington Post article Wednesday reported that Congress is starting to pay closer attention to this largely academic proposal and that the Obama administration, though shushing speculation, is soliciting advise from supporters of the idea.
“It should certainly raise alarm bells that they think they can inject it into the debate,” said Phil Kerpen, policy director at Americans for Prosperity.
The value-added tax, or VAT, as it is called, amounts to a tax-on-everything — or TOE, for the acronym-inclined. It’s a tax on goods that’s applied in pieces throughout the chain of production and distribution and results in an increase in the cost of virtually everything you buy.
The fact that the United States has dug its own hole regarding our debt where Bush and Obama combined can be blamed for a lot of it (I should also state that the liberal congress who has been there since the end of 2006 is also a huge culprit when it comes to voting on and setting budgets). The National Debt is around $11.3T and growing at a steady pace, while the GDP is somewhere between $13 & $14T, seeing negative growth and possible stagnation in the out years. This spells disaster for anyone in financial analysis, who understands debt ratios.
Inflation at this point is inevitable and that will mean higher prices for every American. Each individual household is also responsible for $668,621 based on the latest article out of USA Today. This obligation includes the total federal debt obligations per household as well as the average debt obligation for an American household at a personal level. My question is this: With median household income below $60K in the U.S. (if debt was all your income was used on – no taxes, no food, gas, clothes, shelter etc.), – do you think Americans would be able to pay that off in their lifetime? Buhbye American Dream…
The sad fact is that Americans became spoiled – the government was not a good role model, and the sense of saving and living within one’s means quickly flew out the window.
What USA Today, because it’s biased, fails to do is disclose the fact that 2008 alone cannot be blamed for the debt obligations of American citizens tied to the government like serfs. The Stimulus package, the omnibus package and the budget of Barack H. Obama has increased deficit spending unlike anything this country has seen and his debt obligation alone is more than all presidents in history combined. His out year budgets are also something to shriek at – he did not have to spend this much money, although the liberal propagandists will spin it and continue to say it was a crisis and he had to do what was necessary because he inherited this mess – I call Shenanigans! Use Reagan’s model to dig out of a recession/depression – not FDR’s fallacious one, in which he hurt rather than helped.
It should be no surprise to anyone that in order to balance the budget and pay off this debt, taxes have to be raised. Taxes have to increase to sustain the ever increasing size of government and due to the large drop in tax revenue for 2008 filing it really was an inevitable idea of the beltway gang.
Raising taxes while people are already hurting will make things much worse. This proposal of a sales tax, much like the EU VAT, will be dreadful on our economy and on average regular “Joe’s.”
Rasmussen just conducted a poll asking Americans what they thought about a national sales tax at this point in time. A whopping 68% of respondents were against the tax and only 18% approved. If the White House is really using polling data to govern it may want to take a look at this one!
If the U.S. VAT passes I’ll be happy to point out to the young college-aged waiters that they no longer get tips – just like Europe!
You voted for it!
Gird Your Blogs! Cyber Security Czar To Be Named In Coming Weeks
President Barack Obama is calling digital security a top priority, whether it’s guarding the computer systems that keep the lights on in the city and direct airliners to the right runway or those protecting customers who pay their bills online.
To oversee an enhanced security system for the nation’s computer networks, Obama is creating a “cyber czar” as part of a long-awaited plan stemming from a review he ordered shortly after taking office.
On Friday, Obama is expected to lay out broad goals for dealing with cyber threats while depicting the U.S. as a digital nation that needs to provide the education required to keep pace with technology and attract and retain a cyber-savvy work force. He also is expected to call for a new education campaign to raise public awareness of the challenges and threats related to cyber security.
The review, however, will not dictate how the government or private industry should tighten digital defenses. Critics say the cyber czar will not have sufficient budgetary and policy-making authority over securing computer systems and spending.
With the political schemes and games going on in DC since Obama’s election – it would come as no surprise if Obama’s administration and the progressives in Congress elected for a backdoor approach to control the Net.
The Fairness Doctrine was a “no-go” due mainly to the fact that word got out to too many people on what it actually meant/entailed. There was discussion of the next approach which would be localization or another cleverly termed piece of legislation called media diversity. Each form of media regulation would have loopholes allowing for specific media outlets or sites to be regulated and/or abolished if standards were not met.
From The Daily Uprising:
Today, President Obama will announce the creation of a new White House cyber-czar position with the power to promulgate security regulations and shut down private networks connected to the global internet.
There is no doubt that security measures are necessary to protect the internet. That’s why the last administration requested and got considerable funding from Congress for increased military and law enforcement internet security efforts from the NSA, Pentagon, FBI, and DHS. What there is still doubt about is how Obama’s plan to further fracture the United States’ efforts by adding Obama’s political team at the White House to the mix is going to help matters. We don’t oppose efforts to coordinate the nation’s internet defense amongst agencies, but when it comes to the White House determining security certification standards, micromanaging military procedure, or pulling the plug on networks, we dissent.
Given the Chrysler “Dealergate” uncovered by right-wing blogs, one could only assume that Obama and his cronies would attempt to use the Cyber Security Czar to block these blogs. Most news nowadays comes from the Internet. On a rare occasion I will tune into the news, but I tend to find that blogs and Internet forums provide me with up-to-the-minute information and become more and more significant. TV news seems to run a day or two behind the blogosphere and what better way for the liberals to silence the opposition or dumb down the rest of America so they have no idea what is really going on!
Will the liberals cry, protest, and whine about Obama’s big “brothering” of the Net? He has already expanded up on Bush’s wire-tapping and now he is going for the Internet… One would think this would be an issue for them…

Hollyweirdos Are Destroying Our Country
Think about it! These people that have never done anything but act or take Theeeee-A-terrr classes believe they know enough to resolve the problems of the nation and the world. Money has a tendency to do strange things to people, like make them believe they are actually intelligent and should open their mouths and attempt to indoctrinate others along their line of thinking (which is slim to none). Sadly, the fact that our youth is so obsessed with celebrities and Hollyweird, it is no wonder that they voted heavily for the Democrat candidate this past election. They all thought he was cool and hip, the next American Idol, since all the celebrities adored and endorsed him… PUUUUH-LEASE and people please start to think for yourselves. I beg you to try and have an in depth, intelligent conversation with these folks that isn’t superficial and hollow. If you can find 5 liberal celebrities that are able to challenge you intellectually then I will pay you boku bucks. In fact much of what these celebrities bloviate about makes no sense – they just try to use big words that have been in previous scripts they’ve memorized to smooth talk people on talk shows. That’s why Obama is so similar – he uses empty rhetoric and rehearsed/teleprompted speeches that do not require individual thought. I have read a couple of poems that were actually released (believe it or not) from Obama’s college, and they were anything but witty, intelligent, or coherent. (Obama’s Poem “Underground”)
Under water grottos, cavernsFilled with apesThat eat figs.Stepping on the figsThat the apesEat, they crunch. The apes howl, bareTheir fangs, dance . . .
Needless to say, since Hollywood conducted a major get out the vote campaign, heavily in favor of Barack Obama, it only makes sense that he would use tax payer dollars to fly over to California after his quick jaunt to Nevada to raise money for Harry Reid, who is behind in the polls. His fundraising dinner touted his policies and ego-centrically put himself leaps and bounds beyond any previous administration besides FDR (coming from the modest Obama himself). The only thing his policies are going to do is through this country into a downward spiral and bankrupt it – something FDR could have done if we had been in the massive amounts of debt we find ourselves in today.
Even as he conceded there is still much hard work to do, President Obama was in a boastful mood Wednesday night, telling a star-studded crowd at a fundraising dinner that he “would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR.”
The president, speaking to a dinner that included Hollywood A-listers like Kiefer Sutherland, Marissa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg, lauded the legislation he has signed since taking office but added that he is “not satisfied.”
The elitists paid a lot of money to attend the dinner and the reception afterwards. It’s nice that these stars and starlets have the money that middle class America doesn’t, the people that really produce and make this country work, not Hollywood. But this is typical of elitists, although they hate to admit it, they can’t stand middle class America. They don’t like the middle class because what had once set them apart from us; cars, mcmansions, resorts, hot-spots, clubs, vacations – can all be obtained by us if we work hard and make money. The elitists felt that their status was being encroached upon and they were none-too-pleased. They would be ecstatic if the rest of the country was poor while they still maintained their millions. This way, they would have control, somewhat parallel to what the elitists in and around the beltway secretly hope for.
The celebrity dinner, which cost couples $30,400 to attend, was followed by a larger, lower-dollar concert that all told raised between $3 million and $4 million for the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
Obama also, based on his personal popularity, trotted along two of the least favored members of his party to the extravagant gala, most likely to gain some Hollywood backers/support for Dodd and Specter who are both struggling in recent state polls.
Joining the celebrities feting Obama were Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) and Republican-turned-Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.), “the newest member of our caucus.”
This is very telling of the individuals residing in Hollyweird. I find that many of them, as actors, require direction – imagine that! They are so incredibly superficial that they have no spiritual connection or self-respect. Most have self-esteem issues and other resentments that they carry with them – typical of those lacking faith of some sort. I have seen it in my own personal life: Those who do not fill that spiritual void fill it with boyfriends, girlfriends, human beings, things, jobs, or what have you. They are easily suckered into the next best thing and worship it until the trend goes away – just like Fendi purses, once it’s out of fashion, onto the next latest and greatest thing.
The most pathetic quote of the evening:
Obama was introduced by Dreamworks CEO and longtime Democratic donor Jeffrey Katzenberg. The president thanked Katzenberg, saying: “If it weren’t for you, we would not be in the White House.”
And let me just add – could you imagine if a Republican was going off on trips to hang out with celebrities at a fancy dinner during economic hard times?
