Why I’m a 27 Year Old Conservative

I grew up in the liberally elite state of Connecticut, inundated with yacht clubs, country clubs, and various people suffering from the chronic condition of cranial rectal disorder. Connecticut was a cross between the cinematic masterpieces of Pretty in Pink, Mean Girls, and the Stepford wives. I never lived on the right side of the tracks, like Molly Ringwald, was never popular, nor did I want to conform to the rest of the “wives” living in the neighborhood. I was dead set to go against the grain, remaining true to my morals and beliefs. Growing up in Connecticut allowed me to see the superficial hollowness that becomes so prevalent in elite society. Nicolle Wallace Please Find a New Job…

I would have thought that after last year’s sabatoge of Sarah Palin wither Nicolle’s old buddy, Katie Couric, that she would have been fired, and put out to pasture rather than be a Republican spokesperson.  She is just a tool for the left like Meghan McCain, but I think these two women prefer that.  They simply are Republican elites that align more with moderate Democrats than Conservatives or true Republican platforms.

Is it any wonder that Nicolle, brainless dolt, Wallace thinks that Gary Sinise may make a good choice to run as a candidate or be our next hope for POTUS?  Is this woman nuts?  I feel the same way about General Petraeus.  I think General Petraeus and Gary Sinise are great men, but I have no idea where either one really stands politically.  I don’t even know if Petraeus is a Republican!? nor do I know anything about his governing abilities, but at least he is a leader and has those qualities, which is more than I can say for Gary Sinise.

Sinise, don’t get me wrong, should be commended for his love of the U.S. military and his ongoing support for the troops.  He is one of few outspoken Republican Hollywood actors, but he may only be Republican when it comes to national defense and may not know much about how the political system really works – something I’m willing to make bets on.

Nicolle Wallace thinks he may be “the one” because he can act and articulate ideas or at least read well from a script.  Well, the last time I checked that was his job, was it not?  As Michelle Malkin stated, do we really need another Obamasiah?  I hope not!  At least Fred Thompson ran for office and held a seat in the Senate.  Reagan was an actor who ran California and chose politics over Hollywood.  Gary Sinise is still just an actor who is politically active… The American Idol culture is killing this country – let’s get back to some substance!

And while we are at it, please dump this flake of a “strategist.”  Let’s look at some of the sabotage that this woman among other GOP staffers conducted over the past election against a real conservative, by looking here, here, here and here.  Nicolle Wallace, “don’t go away mad, just go away…”

Rush Limbaugh Defends Governor Palin

Discussing the Republican listening tour conducted by Former Governors Jeb Bush (FL) and Mitt Romney (MA), radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said they are “embarrassed” by Sarah Palin.

Limbaugh said the underlying issue of these speaking engagements is that Bush and Romney “hate” and “despise” the Alaska Governor and former running-mate of John McCain. Limbaugh added they have “presidential perspirations” and called their tour an “early campaign event.”
Limbaugh defended Palin and heralded her as the “most prominent and articulate voice” for conservatism.

Rush concluded this “need to praise” President Obama leaves him “wanting.”

She is the quintessential Conservative and she lives and breathes conservatism in her every day life!  Time to stop getting all caught up with these elitists and establishment figures.  They are just as much about power and control as the Democrats… it’s time that some Republicans also wake up to this fact.

Obama Turn on Tax and Spend – Did Tea Party’s Have an Effect?

Today the Obama Administration took somewhat of a turn on the out of control spending that has been the hallmark of his tenure thus far.

He called for the elimination of pet projects, elimination of government programs that are not effective and calls for cuts across all agencies of government.

All good intentions but, thus far, between the Omnibus Bill, Stimulus and Bail Out Bills, and borrowing more than all previous presidents combimed to finance their budget, is not going to get the job done.

This announcement comes on the heels of the April 15th Tax Day Tea Parties across the United States.  It seems we the people got our message across loud and clear.  However, I hope we do not let up and keep fighting. Conservatism is not a catch phrase, or an Obama campaign sticker. As you all know this administration governs by polling data.  Actions will speak louder than words. However 2010 still represents our best chance to at least win back the House of Representatives (Crabby ;)   ) and close the gap in the Senate.  I hope there is another Nation Wide Tea Party in November of this year, and again in Oct of 2010.  We can’t let up!

Levin’s latest sounds a clarion call to all Americans to embrace our conservative heritage. In clear and concise language, this instant classic shows how “statism” has undermined the foundations established by the Founding Fathers and why conservatives need to become more active. A must read for anyone who is concerned with the direction of our country.
