I haven’t heard much on the recent arrest and thwarting of a terror plot in New York City aimed at decimating Jewish Synagogues and community centers, but it took place earlier this week.  Nary a peep or a whimper from the anti-American mainstream media, because heaven forbid we let the American people know that there is still a major islamo-fascist threat even on our own soil.

The media elite should be ashamed of themselves, but they don’t want anyone to really find out how politically biased they are, so they would rather put people’s lives in danger than let them know the truth;  that national security is not a joke and it’s quite necessary for our future survival.

Four New York men were arrested Wednesday in connection with an alleged plot to blow up area Jewish centers and military targets. The plot, however, was foiled by undercover agents.

Raids by the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force in the Bronx captured the suspected ringleader and three followers in what law enforcement sources are calling a homegrown terrorist plot.

Agents and police watched Wednesday night as the suspects allegedly planted what they thought were bombs outside two Jewish community centers in Riverdale, a Bronx, New York neighborhood. In one case the suspected terrorists planted a bomb inside a parked car.  However, officials said the suspects were actually using fake explosives given to them in an earlier sting operation to make sure they didn’t get their hands on real bombs.

“The bombs had been made by the FBI technicians, they were totally inert, no one was ever at risk,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

The FBI said the Muslim suspects were angry and full of hate for America.

“Hatred of the West. The leader of the group, James Cromitie was concerned about deaths at the hands of the U.S. military in Afghanistan,” and also expressed anti-Jewish sentiment, Joseph Demarest the head of the New York FBI said.

According to the criminal complaint, Cromitie said “I hate those f-ing Jewish bastards.” He bragged that it would be a “piece of cake” to bomb a Jewish Center in Riverdale, according to the complaint.

Cromitie was the first to approach the informant, authorities said.  He told the informant he has ties to the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad.  Authorities said Cromitie had 27 past arrests and had recently been working at a nation-wide discount retailer, authorities said.

Several of the suspects have previously been arrested on drug charges and may have converted to Islam in prison, authorities said.

Another shining example of the religion of peace.  And what was it that Obama and his liberal buddies in congress said about moving the Gitmo Muslims into prisons? It wouldn’t cause any problems?  Prisons have become a breeding ground for islamo-fascism…

After a year-long investigation launched by the Bush administration, the feds cracked down on a ring of murder-minded black Muslim jailhouse converts preparing to bomb two Bronx synagogues and “eager to bring death to Jews.” They also planned to attack a New York National Guard air base in Newburgh, New York, where the suspects lived and worshiped at a local mosque.

Not one word from the president on the jihadists’ intended victims, motives, or means.

No comfort for the reported targets in the Big Apple, still raw from the Scare Force One rattling that so vainly and recklessly simulated 9/11.

No condemnation for the accused plotters.

Why? Because doing so would force Obama to abandon his cottony “extremist ideology” euphemisms and confront the concrete truth. To borrow one of our obtuse president’s favorite clichés, “let me be perfectly clear” about the reality Obama won’t touch: America faces an ongoing Islamic jihad at home and abroad. Not merely “man-caused.” But Koran-inspired. Yet, Obama refuses to spell out the centuries-old roots of the war that he claims he’ll win faster, better, and cleaner than any of his predecessors.

This reminds me of personal stories when somebody gets injured or has an illness… He/She hates doctors and thinks that if he/she continues to avoid the problem or the inevitable, turning a blind eye to the situation, it will just go away.  However, the opposite usually happens, without proper treatment the malady gets worse until sometimes it becomes too late…

The Palestinian Authorityand Hamas rejected over the weekend Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people as a precondition for resuming the stalled peace talks between the two sides.

Netanyahu made the demand during a meeting last Thursday with US special Middle East envoy George Mitchell.

Mitchell met on Friday in Ramallah with PA President Mahmoud Abbas and other top PA officials, who urged him to pressure the new Israeli government to accept the two-state solution and honor all agreements signed with Israel as a precondition for resuming the peace talks.

Chief PA negotiator Saeb Erekat said that the demand to recognize Israel as a Jewish state was “an admission by the Israeli prime minister that he cannot deliver on peace.” Erekat pointed out that the PLO had already recognized Israel’s right to exist when it signed the Oslo Accords, while Netanyahu was refusing to mention a Palestinian state.

Azzam al-Ahmed, a senior Fatah official closely associated with Abbas, said on Saturday that the Palestinians would not return to the negotiating table until Netanyahu publicly accepted the two-state solution.

“We reject Netanyahu’s demand to recognize Israel as a Jewish state,” he said. “This demand illustrates the racist nature of Israel and the extremist policies of its government. It also shows that Israel is not serious about making peace with its neighbors.”

So let me get this straight, Palestine wants to be recognized as a state which would mean a two-state resolution, however, it refused to recognize the second part of that resolution which would be Israel?

The Oslo Accord was a sham and it is a failed policy.  The United Nations does such a poor job of following its own rules and guidelines, why would the Oslo Accord which is out of date and does not apply or count have any pull in the matter?

What is not disclosed is the fact that the PA (Palestinian Authority) is actually the PLO.  The PLO has never changed its charter which calls for the elimination/extermination of all Jews.

The Palestinians and other Middle Eastern countries have quite a strong influence of Nazism.  What is not readily taught in public schools these days but can be seen on the History Channel is the power that Hitler had on the Middle East and how he involved the Grand Mufti of Palestine, at that time residing in Jerusalem, in WWII.  The Mufti trained and built his own forces who carried the same anti-semitic sentiment – something that so obviously exists today.  The Islamofascists are extremely similar to the Nazis of the 30′s and 40′s.

Another parallel to WWII would be the appeasement by Neville Chamberlain and if we learned anything from history, it’s how appeasement does not work when dealing with hostile countries or dictators that have made their intentions clear.  Chamberlain gave land to Hitler near the Czech Republic and this gave Germany the opportunity to being the conquer of Europe and begin their quest for dominance.  If you don’t think this could happen again by promising land, think again!

This will prove to be quite a conundrum for Obama and is Administration and depending upon the decision could prove disastrous.

Israel has only ever wanted to be recognized and accepted in the region, why is this so difficult for the other Islamic countries surrounding them?   One of the answers in this, in my opinion, will be properly engaging and working with Jordan – this may be the only option.

I’m glad we have our priorities straight in the Beltway.  Instead of the “War on Terror,” we now have the “War on Capitalism.”  Meanwhile, the War on Terror is now called the “Overseas Contingency Operation.”  Helen Thomas would be so proud of how we are treating those “so-called” terrorists.

Great timing for the name change especially when the leader of the Pakistani Taliban, Baitullah Mehsud, warned on Tuesday that he was planning an attack in Washington D.C., the likes of which has not been seen yet. 

Mehsud’s troops reside in the South Waziristan region of Pakistan, close to the Afghanistan border, working closely with al-Qaeda.  Mehsud said that his attack would avenge the deaths of his soldiers killed by the recent drone aircraft attacks from the United States. 

A senior U.S. official said, “We’ve seen a widening of the attacks,” out of the tribal areas, and added, “this has had the effect of having a lot of Pakistanis binding together. “

Isn’t this what the liberals always say we do when we engage in war or defense of some sort?  That we cause them to bind together and become more militant and if we left everyone alone we would have peace?  So why are the liberals now ok with Obama’s request for a surge in Afghanistan and the possibility of entering Pakistan?  Not that I don’t think much of this occurs and is funded from regions such as Waziristan, and something needs to be done, but it’s the hypocrisy that gets to me.  It’s not ok for a Republican President to do this, because it makes the islamic militants even more militant, but it’s ok when a Democratic President does it – when we have evidence that this aggression is causing them to “bind” together… Crickets…

“Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world,” he said in separate remarks to the Associated Press.

Pakistani and Western intelligence officials say it is unlikely that Mr. Mehsud, whose forces are concentrated largely on fighting Pakistan’s government, has the reach and resources to attack the U.S. However, those officials note, Mr. Mehsud has close ties to al Qaeda, and coordination with the group could increase his sweep considerably.

Pakistani and U.S. intelligence officials say Mr. Mehsud is believed to have had a hand in major attacks including the December 2007 assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

TEHRAN, Iran(AP) – Iran played down President Barack Obama’s new video message to the Iranian people on Friday, saying it welcomed the overtures but warned that decades of mistrust can’t easily be erased. Obama released the video to coincide with the major Iranian festival of Nowruz, a 12-day holiday that marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of the new year in Iran. In the video, which has Farsi subtitles, Obama said the U.S. is prepared to end the strained relations if Tehran tones down its combative rhetoric.

Maybe there was a reason for being combative and at least having our guard up when it came to dealing with aggressive, terrorist-harboring nations that border on fascist.

 But in the first government reaction to the video, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s press adviser said “minor changes will not end the differences” between Tehran and Washington.

“Obama has talked of change but has taken no practical measures to address America’s past mistakes in Iran. If Mr. Obama takes concrete actions and makes fundamental changes in U.S. foreign policytoward other nations including Iran, the Iranian government and people will not turn their back on him,” Ali Akbar Javanfekr told the Iranian state-run English-language Press TV satellite station.

Is Obama that naive? That was more of a rhetorical question – Jimmy Carter was recently seen leaving the White House, so maybe Obama received some sagely advice from the 41st Peanut Farmer in Chief.  He, did in fact, do very well with foreign policy and diplomacy in regards to Iran/sarc.

When you deal with a fascist or semi-fascist state, you will have to agree with their policies, their beliefs and their way of life for them to ever accept you and not “turn their back on you.”  Which reminds me that I need to ask Obama how Ahmadinejad’s shoes taste.

It wasn’t clear how many Iranians were able to see the video, which was not aired on state television in Iran on Friday. It was likely shown on Farsi-language TV stations beamed in from outside of the country, but many Iranians don’t watch television in the first days of long Nowruz holiday that is normally filled with family gatherings or vacations away from home.

Can somebody please teach our president what it means to be considerate and understanding of other cultures?  One must be aware of holidays and traditions in other nations.

Iranians could see the video on the White House Web site, but other popular video sharing sites like YouTube are blocked in Iran.

I’m glad that the liberals love Iran so much.  Those same liberals who felt that Bush was some evil dictator forcing everyone to live under Martial Law, meanwhile, dictatorships like Iran don’t even let their people have access to youtube – but we should definitely negotiate with these guardians of humanity.

Obama has repeatedly signaled a willingness to engage with Iran about its nuclear program and hostility toward Israel, a key U.S. ally. At his inauguration, the president said his administration would reach out to rival states, declaring “we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.”

But Iranian leaders have been not been as eager. Ahmadinejad has said Iran would welcome talks with the U.S.—but only if there was mutual respect. Iranian officials say that means the U.S. needs to stop accusing Iran of seeking to build nuclear weapons and supporting terrorism, charges Tehran has denied.

Iran and the United States broke off diplomatic relations after the 1979 Islamic revolution and the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran by hard-line students.

On Friday, Javanfekr blamed the United States’ “hostile policy toward Iran” for the tense ties between the two countries. He said Iranian’s “will never forget” Washington’s past actions including the U.S.-backed coup that toppled the elected government of Prime Minister Mohamed Mossadegh in 1953, its backing of Saddam Hussein during Iraq’s war with Iran in the 1980s and the downing of an Iranian airliner in 1988 by a U.S. naval ship.

But in Europe, the EU’s policy chief urged Iranian officials to accept Obama’s outstretched hand.

“It’s a very constructive message,” Javier Solana said at an EU summit in Brussels. “I hope that will open a new chapter in relations with Tehran.”

Sounds pretty egotistical of Obama to believe that he can remedy the resentment between our two countries over the next four years.  Much of Iran’s resentment is not justified based on their historical actions.  But what do I know? We should probably listen to the ever effective United Nations.
