Mocking Keith Olbermann, Always Good for Some Laughs

Steven Crowder, a conservative comedian/actor, recently put a skit together on PJTV media mocking Keith Olbermann’s Countdown and the way in which he shouts down his guests, never letting them actually voice their opinions… My favorite part; Rachel Maddow ;-)

GE Took Gov Aid Money, but Immelt Won’t Cut the Fat

As GE Stocks continue to hover at historic lows, GE announced that it is launching a new medical development program called ‘Healthymagination’ at a cost of about 6 billion dollars.   One of the main objectives of the program is to assist the Obama Administration’s goal of digitizing everyone’s medical records for instant access.

In their announcement, GE said it will draw upon its divisions to include GE Capitol and NBC Universal, both of which are losing entities in the GE brand name.

Now in order to counteract these losses GE has received money and guarantees from the government :

GE Chairman and CEO of General Electric, Jeffry Immelt, not only secured FDIC debt coverage on up to $139.0 billion in bonds outstanding as of Sept. 30, that mature by June 30, GE also tapped the Federal Reserves commercial paper funding facility for almost $5.0 billion in late October. GE became a bank holding company in order to qualify for TARP funds. Shares of GE Stock fell about 4.5% for the week ending 8 May 09.

Tom Daschel, the Health and Human Services nominee who withdrew because of tax trouble, is serving on the GE Healthymagination advisory board. As you may recall, this was Barack Obama’s first choice for the HHS post. So where is the conflict of interest alarms? Why was Vice President Cheney run up and down flag poles for being on the board of Halliburton prior to becoming VP?  Where are the alarmists who screamed bloody murder about President Bush and Exxon? Tom Daschle has Mr Obama’s ear, and this venture represents a huge steak in his health care initiative. It once again proves beyond a reasonable doubt that transparency among administration officials is as clear as Mississippi River water.

GE Capitol in 2008 experienced 7.2 billion in credit losses alone. Combine that with the unprofitable entities of NBC (MSNBC, and CNBC) and you begin to get the picture that GE is not very healthy under Mr. Immelt. In what was once a healthy company with share prices hovering around $50.00, the company now stands to lose its credit rating of AAA and Investment rating from stable to risky.

NBC Studios, MSNBC, CNBC, are currently all rating losers. So why does GE not shed the fat?  Because they stood in line behind the Obama Campaign, and thus are not being treated like Chrysler and GM?  No change at the top for GE (which in Chrysler’s Case, was for pure political expediency) and no forfeiture of unprofitable divisions? As it stands, NBC Studios will develop, produce and air, segments related to this initiative and MSNBC will air a new health related program for Healthymagination. Why are there no salary cap instructions for NBC talking heads like Brockaw, Matthews, or Olbermann? Oh, yeah, they were the only ones who got tingly feelings up and down their legs at the mere mention of Mr Obama.

But again the question is, where does all this money come from, and can GE, who has lost share value and siphoning money to GE Capital, afford 6 Billion dollars?   We have to wonder about the potential huge ethical questions here as Barack Obama owes NBC for all of their unwaivering support, and GE’s push into Mr Obamas healthcare initiatives.  How much of the bill is the taxpayer going to be responsible for?

Liberals Continue Their Invective Against Carrie Prejean

Listen to this vile hate – sounds like two catty women gossiping and starting false rumors about a person who just wanted to state their own opinion and be outspoken about it.  And who is calling who superficial Michael Musto? When it comes to the gay agenda; if you don’t agree you must be exterminated – you cannot have your own opinion these days. I think Olbermann and Musto are actually doing their cause a disservice by continuing to harp on Ms. Prejean… just my opinion – most decent reporters would have let this die by now - the news has actually become the hate over at MSNBC; despicable.

But what strikes me as even worse than the invective by the predictable hateful left, (Olbermann & Musto) is the hypocrite who came onto The Factor last night as a so called feminist. I can’t stand these feminists. They are tools of the left used to push a liberal agenda through.  True feminists would care care about the rights of all women no matter what political ideology they represent. If these attacks were being made on some liberal Hollywood starlet or a liberal politician you can guarantee that the liberal feminists would be all over it.  Instead they make up some dumb excuse about the pageant and the fact that Ms. Prejean has fake breasts.

How can you utter justice and equality in one breath but then immediately state the someone needs a heart transplant? So she needs to be politically correct in order to receive justice and equality from the feminist groups?  But leave it to the so called feminists to bring up the breast implants because, for liberals, nothing is off limits and even the most trivial of details can be spun against somebody…

I may as well come out of the closet now! I have fake breasts… some females do it to look “normal,” more astethically pleasing, for self-esteem, because of cancer, because of deformities, etc. There are myriad reasons as to why people opt for an operation and if any one of these types of people were to hear this woman use the excuse that Carrie Prejean had it coming due to the fact that she had fake breasts, they would all be appalled. How many liberal women, esp. from the elite class and Hollyweird, have fake breasts? That’s what I thought… the statistics on how many women have them is staggering.   Breast augmentation and implantation is becoming as normal as anti-depressants in this country; so get over it and admit to your double standards. Feminists Tools of the Left make me sick!

The Truth – Obama as Christ

In some deranged homage to Barack Obama’s first 100 days in office artist (if you can call this art) Michael D’Antuono has created a portrait of the President in a crucifix pose, complete with a crown of thorns in front of the presidential seal.

The controversial artist said he is not claiming that Obama is the Messiah, but is leaving it up to individual interpretation.  He is known for non-political paintings, but felt he needed to make a statement;

“Aided by the media, politics has taken a nasty turn in the last decade and I firmly believe that this is one of the underlying causes of our nation’s current problems.”

The painting will be unveiled in Union Square on 29 April. Following the unveiling and accolades that are sure to spill over into the ceremony, viewers will be allowed to view the work one at a time inside a viewing booth. The report did not say if there was a charge. Lets see how many miracles occur during the viewings.

The media in the 100 day milestone, have been ramping up Obamamania, and will once again air a Prime Time news conference, cutting into American Idol and Fringe, so he can make yet another hope and change sermon to the American People. The likes of MSNBC, CNN, ABC, Air America and the Huffington Post can sing the heavenly accolades of the “One” and pass out replacement rose colored glasses.

“The most important thing we now know about Barack Obama, after nearly 100 days in office, is that he means to confront that way of life directly and profoundly, to exchange sand for rock if he can. Whether you agree with him or not — whether you think he is too ambitious or just plain wrong — his is as serious and challenging a presidency as we have had in quite some time . . .

Perhaps Obama’s most dramatic departure from the recent past is his public presence: cool where George W. Bush seemed hot, fluent where Bush seemed tongue-tied, palliative rather than hortative. Bush would never admit a mistake, but Obama said the words plainly — ‘I made a mistake’ — when his appointment of Tom Daschle as health-care czar tanked, one of the few significant setbacks during his time in office.”

Of course this diatribe is just more fluff and powdered sugar. The left cannot point to any real accomplishments, so they have to go back and tear down President Bush. They say he admits to mistakes.  Tom Daschle is not a stretch, and he did not attain a cabinet level post.  I guess the pork laden Omnibus Bill and the Stimulus package are not mistakes.  It is a real sad state of affairs in the BHO administration. Broken promises, tax cheats in the cabinet, and trampling the Constitution. Yeah, that is change we can believe in.
