Obama’s Approval Rating Has Dropped to 50

It’s official America is split on Obama and this is one of the fastest dropping approval ratings in recent history for a new president. Stick a fork in it, the honeymoon is over and people are becoming more and more impatient regarding the economy and seeing the INactions (besides massive spending) of the president and the endless campaigning. People are getting tired of Obama’s misplaced priorities such as NCAA brackets, an appearance on Leno and an all-together “fed-up” feeling of seeing his mug on every media outlet.
Monica Crowley had mentioned on her radio program yesterday how American Idol viewers found out that the show would be delayed because Obama would be making another address to the nation. Many of the comments were negative, coming from the younger population who voted for the guy. Their attention span was even shorter than I had previously thought, and they are feeling as though he has been overexposed already.
I’m hoping that his requirement for a binky (teleprompter) at every turn is also changing peoples’ minds. Life isn’t about words and flowing semantics, but rather actions. There is a reason as to why cliches exist – because they are true; Actions speak louder than words!
The honeymoon is over, a national poll will signal tomorrow as President Obama’s job approval stumbles to about 50 percent over the lack of improvement with the crippled economy.
The sobering numbers come as the president backpedals from two prime-time gaffes – one comparing his bowling score to a Special Olympian and another awkwardly laughing about the economy, which prompted Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” to ask “are you punch-drunk?”
Pollster John Zogby said his poll out in the morning will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.”
