The Only Ones With Cajones in the GOP are Women; UPDATE: AUDIO ADDED (Under Excerpts)
Sarah Palin has been laying it on the line and with all the negative media attention she received last year, it shows that this woman knows she has nothing to lose and could care less what others think at this point. Her attitude is what is needed during this time of media propagandizing and kowtowing to the Democrats, especially Obama – it’s about time that somebody within the GOP actually stands on principle – not politics as usual, special interests, PC mumbo-jumbo, or money.
Palin has made statements regarding the North Korean missile threats and Obama’s budget cuts aimed at specific defense programs. Sarah has issued very poignant, concise, intelligent statements on Dr. Tiller and William Long (the military recruiter). She has vetoed some stimulus funds that had universal energy codes attached to them – something that Alaska certainly does not need. Sarah has also continued her fight for the gas pipeline. Governor Palin was most recently attending a rally in honor of Ronald Reagan, where son Michael Reagan, was the keynote speaker, in Anchorage. During a brief 17 minute introduction of Michael Reagan she made statements regarding the control government wants over not only the states, but us, as individuals. Have any GOP beltway hacks so much as inferred this?
Here is part of her speech:
“Since when can you get out of huge national debt by creating trillions of dollars of new debt?” Palin asked. “It all really is so backwards and skewed as to sound like absolute nonsense when some of this economic policy is explained.”
“We need to be aware of the creation of a fearful population, and fearful lawmakers, being led to believe that big government is the answer, to bail out the private sector, because then government gets to get in there and control it,” she said. “And mark my words, this is going to be next, I fear, bail out next debt-ridden states. Then government gets to get in there and control the people.”
“Some in Washington would approach our economic woes in ways that absolutely defy Economics 101, and they fly in the face of principles, providing opportunity for industrious Americans to succeed or to fail on their own accord,” she said. “Those principles it makes you wonder what the heck some in Washington are trying to accomplish here.”
Though the bulk of her remarks focused on government encroachment into the private sector, and praise for former President Reagan’s views on limited government, the former vice presidential candidate briefly touched on national security. She told the crowd that “the terrorists are still dead set against us” and that her son Track is still deployed in Iraq.
“It is war over there, so it will not be war over here,” she said. “And it had better still be our mission that we win, they lose.”She also pointed to the recent dismissal of another ethics complaint against her, one that accused the governor of having a conflict of interest for wearing a jacket to the opening of the Tesoro Iron Dog race in February that feautured the logo of the sponsor of her husband’s team. Palin has been forced to set up a legal defense fund to help pay for fees related to an onslaught of ethic complaints.
Palin said of the people who have filed the complaints: “Those are the folks who want to tell me, they want to tell you, to sit down and shut up. We will not do that. I just can’t, because I love my state. I love my country.”
Here’s a great quote that was left out since it was CNN that reported on it (just a little biased):
“I am just a mom; I’m a proud Alaskan hockey mom. I love my country, I’m concerned about my kids’ future and your kids’ future. I was raised where it is rugged, and you’ve got to be tough with dogged determination in order to survive sometimes.”
Governor Palin was introduced by Eddie Burke (a radio show host in Alaska) and he said the following:
“Pardon me Governor for saying this, but Barry Goldwater Jr. recently said ‘She is attractive, she is smart, she’s got the right message, and she doesn’t take crap from anyone.’”
Audio of her speech. (And yes, she does say “SCREW POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!!”)
Michele Bachmann has also been incredibly outspoken over the last few months, especially regarding ACORN. She has been trying to pass legislation that would not allow ACORN or any other institution that receives tax payer funds, under investigation or indictment, to receive them, until all charges are officially dropped. This of course did not pass in the House, which is run by the Democrats – most likely because ACORN would have been affected and we know that dead voters always have positive effects for those trying to get elected in close races. Too many politicians would be indicted along with the dirty deeds of ACORN if this was ever investigated completely. However, Bachmann is starting a petition campaign to get this started and to end ACORN’s funding.
These are the types of people we need to keep our eye on and listen to. These are the politicians that are not afraid to speak their mind no matter what the repercussions, because they have character and believe in more than themselves – they believe in the individual; they believe in the USA.
Help out Michele and sign her petition here.
Liberals must also be noticing that the women on the right are the more involved, less fearful of the bunch – since they have to go after some of our women who aren’t even politicians, just pundits, bloggers, columnists and commentators, by writing an article about hate f***ing them… The tolerance of liberals never ceases to astound me.
Keep it up ladies!
Tiller’s Killer; The Demonization of the Pro-Life Movement Begins (Oh the Hypocrisy)
Late Sunday morning at a church service in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. George Tiller, who was under investigation and brought up on charges for late-term abortions, the most conducted nationwide by any doctor, was gunned down by another man.
Dr. Tiller was shot and killed on Sunday by the man currently in custody, Scott Roeder, a 51-year-old.
Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services clinic is one of just three in the nation where abortions are performed after the 21st week of pregnancy. The clinic was heavily fortified and Tiller often traveled with a bodyguard, but Stolz said there was no indication of security at the church Sunday.
Anti-abortion groups denounced the shooting and stressed that they support only nonviolent protest. The movement’s leaders fear the killing could create a backlash just as they are scrutinizing U.S. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, whose views on abortion rights are not publicly known.
“We are shocked at this morning’s disturbing news that Mr. Tiller was gunned down,” Troy Newman, Operation Rescue’s president, said in a statement. “Operation Rescue has worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see him brought to justice. We denounce vigilantism and the cowardly act that took place this morning.”
[...]
Tiller remained prominent in the news, in part because of an investigation begun by former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline, an abortion opponent. (Tiller also had suspicious ties and money attributed to Kathleen Sebelius – Obama’s HHS cabinet member).
Prosecutors had alleged that Tiller had gotten second opinions from a doctor who was essentially an employee of his, not independent as state law requires. A jury in March acquitted Tiller of all 19 misdemeanor counts.
“I am stunned by this lawless and violent act, which must be condemned and should be met with the full force of law,” Kline said in a statement. “We join in lifting prayer that God’s grace and presence rest with Dr. Tiller’s family and friends.”
So what do we know about Roeder? (We don’t know much)
There are contradicting reports of what this man was involved in and what he supported and there is also a very suspicious comment on a youtube clip from 3 weeks ago that warned about Scott Roeder – calling him a con-man so people need to stop jumping to conclusions first and foremost.
Here is an article that states he is not part of the pro-life movement, but rather part of fringe non-government, militia groups.
Here is an article that gives accounts by his friends that he was in fact anti-abortion.
Then there is the youtube clip here, with the following comment (3 weeks ago page 5 for comments):

watch out for scott roeder
hes the biggest fraud con man
on earth yehweh bless
This was an unfortunate event and we can already assume that the liberals and the media will take this to the nth degree to demonize the pro-life movement which has been gaining speed and actually showed great improvement as far as where America falls on the issue as recently as last month when 51% agreed with pro-life causes. I think Governor Palin sums it up with her statement that she issued today:
“I feel sorrow for the Tiller family. I respect the sanctity of life and the tragedy that took place today in Kansas clearly violates respect for life. This murder also damages the positive message of life, for the unborn, and for those living. Ask yourself, ‘What will those who have not yet decided personally where they stand on this issue take away from today’s event in Kansas?’
Regardless of my strong objection to Dr. Tiller’s abortion practices, violence is never an answer in advancing the pro-life message.”
However, the liberals are blaming, as usual, Rush, Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter, among other prominent conservatives (I’m sure Sarah Palin will be blamed as well – they love bashing a genuine person). Here are some comments being made by the leftists already:
This man hates women unless he controls them.
That pretty much is standard operating procedure for a lot of anti abortionists. Women are great as long as they are under their control.
[...]
Bill O’Reilly should be arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.
[...]
I am surprised O’Reilly has not been sued for defamation for this. That’s the minimum he should be held to. Just because he did not come right out for the assination of Dr. Tiller, he cannot escape his own significant contribution to his death.
He has blood on his OWN hands now. As well as all of those who have provided comfort and refuge to the Army of God and the rest of the wingnut American Taliban. They are the worst kind of fascists.
[...]
Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, O’Reilly, Savage, Beck–they all preach hatred. Hatred is their game. Inferior people have to have someone to look down upon. Racism is more often found among frustrated people who try to elevate themselves by comparing themselves with those who have less, or who are “just different” (skin color, for example).
It all comes out finally, whether it is the mass killings on a campus, or an abortion doctor. These hate mongers bear much of the responsibility for what is going on. Why they are allowed to use the publicly owned airwaves to spread their venom is hard to understand.
[...]
So my question to Ann Coulter is: Did George Tiller have “a procedure performed on him with a rifle”? Did he simply get his just desserts?
If the murderer was not a follower of Coulter’s, he certainly acted from the sort of hateful sentiment she disseminates in popular and right-wing media.
So the moonbats, as usual, attack not the gunman, but those on the outskirts as the conspirators or the probable cause of this murder. I hate the victim mentality and believe all people need to take responsibility for their own actions – this was one lone gunman/loon who murdered somebody – not an entire movement or political ideology.
Based on the above, there is a lot of contradicting evidence upon who Scott Roeder really is and also an interesting youtube comment from 3 weeks ago which seemed to warn people of this guy!? Um… there is something incredibly suspicious here and I think that there needs to be more investigation first, before all the tin-foil hats are donned by the liberals to come up with some kooky conspiracy theories.
The hypocrisy in all of this is that I could just as easily demonize the entire Left for the environmental activist bombings that took place in the 90′s which killed people, or I could say that Obama, Clinton, Biden, CNN, NBC, etc. are responsible for illegal immigrants murdering American citizens because they are for amnesty and won’t disclose these murders in public or call the individuals illegals – but technically the accountability should always be on the person who committed the crime(s).
There is fringe on both sides of the aisle and anyone who believes in ideological purity is not somebody that I feel is all that sane. I believe strongly in the platforms and principles of the right and will always preach those values as well as call out the other side. That’s not to say that I can’t see good on the Left time to time or also admit when those on the Right were wrong.
This was a tragic event and it’s something that we all need to think long and hard about and stop demonizing one another over the crazy actions of a lone gunman. It’s too bad that Dr. Tiller’s life had to end the way it did, there is nothing to be gained from taking someone’s life in cold blood, whether you agreed with the Dr. or not (two wrongs don’t make a right). This hurts the pro-life movement, not because they agreed, in fact, it is just the opposite; all pro-life groups that are main stream have condemned Scott Roeder’s acts, but the media and the left will use this incident as a means to an end and will use one person to define the “whole.” It’s incredibly disingenuous and incredibly hypocritical to do so.
President Palin’s First 100 Days in Office
This is hilarious!
President Palin’s First 100 Days
A near disaster.By Victor Davis Hanson
WASHINGTON (AP) — The first 100 days of the Palin presidency, according to a consensus of media commentators, have proven a near disaster. Perhaps it was Palin’s scant two years’ experience in a major government position that has eroded her gravitas, or maybe it was her flirty reliance on looks and informal chit-chat. In any case, the press has had a field day, and it is hard to see how President Palin can ever recover from the Quayle/potatoe syndrome. Here is a roundup of this week’s pundit mockery.
LET THEM EAT MOOSE
“Ted Stevens may have gotten off,” wrote Bob Herbert in the New York Times, “but he taught our Sarah something first — like using $100-a-pound beef for her state dinners. And what’s this $50 mil for her inauguration gala? Since when do you fly in your favorite pizza-maker from across the country on our dime? Or send the presidential 747 for a spin over the Big Apple for a third-of-a-million-dollar joyride? Does Palin think she’s still in Alaska and has to have everything flown in from the South 48 by jumbo jet?”WASILLA CHIC
Also in the Times, Gail Collins weighed in on the already-tired yokelism of the new commander in chief. “What we’re getting is Wasilla chic. That’s what we’re getting. She arrives in the Oval Office, and first thing sends back Blair’s gift of the Churchill bust as if it’s a once-worn Penney’s outfit. Then she gives the Brits some unwatchable DVDs as a booby prize — as if she idled the old Yukon and ran into Target’s sale aisle. Did Sarah send Bristol into Wal-Mart back in Anchorage for that ‘engraved’ iPod for the queen? And what’s this don’t-bow-to-the-queen stuff, but curtsy for a Saudi sheik? Maybe that explains why she brags to Stephanopoulos about her ‘Muslim faith.’ So far, the best things going for her are Todd’s biceps.”

Great News! Sarah Palin Signs Book Deal
From the ADN… Who wants to make a bet that all the petty ankle-biters have been given marching orders to file another ethics complaint? I’m sure they will try, although Republicans and Democrats write books all the time while holding office.
At any rate, this is incredibly exciting news – we can actually hear her story in her own words:
Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a book deal with HarperCollins Publishers for what is described as her memoir.
“There have been so many things written and said through mainstream media that have not been accurate, and it will be nice through an unfiltered forum to get to speak truthfully about who we are and what we stand for and what Alaska is all about,” Palin said in an interview today in which she announced the deal.
Palin and HarperCollins would not say how much she was being paid. Asked why, the former Republican nominee for vice president said she didn’t want to distract from the substance of the book.
“The idea is to focus on the content of the book and what’s coming in terms of me being able to tell my story unrestrained and unfiltered,” Palin said.
[...]
The book is to be published sometime in spring 2010. Palin will have a collaborator, who is expected to be chosen soon. The governor said she wants to do a lot of the writing herself, and that it will be her story and her words.
“It will be nice to put my journalism degree to work on this and get to tell my story, Alaska’s story. There have been so many unauthorized books and publications that have spoken to somebody else’s opinion of who I am, what my family represents and what Alaska is all about,” she said.
[...]
HarperCollins president and CEO Brian Murray said in a written statement that “Governor Palin is one of the most charismatic, inspiring and controversial figures to appear on the national political stage for many years.”
“She has a fascinating story to tell, and we look forward to publishing what surely will be a captivating book,” he said.
HarperCollins said the book will recount her time as mayor of Wasilla, as the first female governor of Alaska and her rise to the national stage during last year’s presidential campaign.
Palin will also share insights on challenges including being a working mother with a son serving in Iraq, another son with Down syndrome and a teenage daughter who went through an unplanned pregnancy, the publisher said.
“I just really look forward to being able to relate to people through this book, those who are anxious to hear stories about people who are facing similar challenges perhaps. That’s balancing work and parenting — in my case work does mean running a state, and family involves a large and fun and colorful ordinary family that really has been thrust into maybe some extraordinary circumstances,” the governor said.
Palin said the book won’t interfere with her duties as governor, and others have written books while in leadership positions. She said she won’t work on the book during state time and will be jotting down her thoughts “after hours.” Palin said journals she’s kept through much of her life will be used for the book.
“My journaling really ramped up when I found out that I was pregnant with Trig and then Track was going off to war and I found out Bristol was pregnant,” Palin said. “When we had those episodes in our lives come to the surface, it was very therapeutic for me.”
I think this book will be a great read! By the way, if you want another great take on the book deal go here…

Wanda Sykes and D.C.’s New Low
Just when you think that the elites in the media, the beltway, and the government couldn’t get any lower they go ahead and ask Wanda Sykes to speak at the Correspondents’ dinner in D.C.
Wanda is most definitely an edgy comedian and she has always been a favorite of mine due to her comic delivery and her offensive remarks that seemed to be equal opportunity for all. However, she never became too political in any of her routines and that is why I was such a huge fan in my early twenties.
However, all of that has changed since the comedian came out of the closet this past year due to prop. 8 and Barack Obama. She has continued to blast conservatives and republicans – for what reason, I don’t know, perhaps in in an effort to change their minds and be more accepting to the gay community? Attacking an opinion, with a tirade or diatribe, does not change the hearts and minds of many. In fact, the way in which conservative opinions are attacked appear to be more intolerant than the original qualm liberals seem to have with Republicans in the first place. Unfortunately, the ignorant masses will never realize the double standards unless they truly do their homework and research politics, as well as the incidents that are conveniently forgotten by the MSM.
Usually this dinner is in much better taste, where the headliner/comedian only roasts the president or his/her administration. This year was something entirely different and what made it ten times worse, in my opinion, was how much Barack Obama seemed to enjoy the slams against former VP candidates and their children, Rush Limbaugh, 9/11 , McCain’s wife, etc.
The tired excuse of Obama being just too likable to roast is getting old and really dumb to any independent thinking individual. At this point, between him and Biden, it would be incredibly easy to roast them. SNL still won’t flat out make fun of Obama, when they have every opportunity to rather, they go after the safer of the two; Biden. There is something inherently wrong with people, comedians, and the media who cannot seem to joke around about someone. I would assume that people are too afraid of the repercussions if they did make fun of him and possibly getting called a racist. Heaven forbid the left uses their obligatory race card AGAIN… Or perhaps they just happen to know that Obama doesn’t have a sense of humor to begin with.
Obama did alright last night, but now Hollywood wants to claim he is the next king of comedy… I personally thought Bush was much funnier and much better at self-deprecation. I knew people who personally worked for Bush and said the same thing. Obama is not funny in his personal life or at work. He tries to deliver jokes but is a beat or two off. I give him a B for a valiant effort, but it still fell a little flat – just my opinion in regards to wit and humor. (Different strokes for different folks)…
The most offensive comments of the evening came from none other than Wanda herself, regarding Rush Limbaugh and joking that he was the 20th hijacker involved with 9/11 but stayed home because he was too “hopped” up on Oxycontin to remember the plot. She spoke about Rush wanting Obama to fail (because he wants his policies to fail), but rather than make a witty quip about how great Obama’s policies really are or about Rush’s radio show, she wished he would die of kidney failure. She also made reference to Sarah Palin withdrawing last minute the day before the event and made reference to abstinence and Bristol Palin. The most benign zinger of the evening regarding a republican was in reference to John McCain and his wife Cindy. John McCain was apparently jealous of the helicopter that Obama gets to ride in and said that Cindy could just buy one for him.
It’s usual for a comedian during a regular routine at some local bar to use the audience and make fun of them, but not at a formal event in which a true roast is supposed to take place. It was low class and set a new low for the event. I am even more disenchanted with all those involved and all who laughed and cheered, including the President himself, at the jokes which had to stoop low enough to bash an 18 year old and wished for the death of another human being. I figure if Wanda wants to call a spade a spade and state that every addict should die then she should have included Biden’s daughter in on that joke and hoped that all the coke she snorted would make her heart fail… but it’s only “trendy” and “hip” to attack Conservatives when you are a liberal elitist or part of the establishment for that matter.
I will never be able to understand how it is that liberals can justify anything that their party does, even when it is so over the line and uncalled for. When/if a Republican reacts in such a demeaning fashion, I hope they are called on the carpet for it and held accountable IMMEDIATELY. I have no problem admitting that a Republican is corrupt, mean, nasty, or unjustified in a remark that was made, but liberals lack the ability to do the same towards their own. It’s called honesty and I hope that some liberals get a clue. Sadly, though, it is becoming evident that liberals are so secularized that they do not not have any moral standards at all… pathetic really. What’s worse is that Obama or somebody higher up had to approve this comic set first, and the more Obama laughed the more you realize how detached and emotionless he really is to things that should upset most normal individuals. The same goes for the media elites.
The Obama administration condemned the jokes aimed at 9/11 in a statement made by Robert Gibbs today. What was left out of their denunciation of the Saturday night snobbery gala, was the actual statements calling for the death of an individual and the attack on a child as well as abstinence education. Wanda Sykes may not have to worry about getting pregnant but young children should be taught the lessons and one of those lessons should be the only sure fire way to avoid it, and STDs, at all costs – abstinence. I was afforded the lesson when I was in grade school and so should all children.
On a side note, with all the 9/11 mockery going on, namely the Air Force One flyover, the initial denial of the event, the condemning of the event, the firing of a White House aide, the jokes about the Obama daughters and the flyover and Obama’s giggling during the Wanda Sykes 20th hijacker segment – I tend to believe that this administration thinks terrorism and attacks on this country are a laughing matter…
One Big Ass Mistake America… Progressives are the antithesis of all that is good and moral in this world. They really have no standards at all.
