This week President Obama has pretty much slammed the door on getting any cooperation from the Republican Party (less Collins and Snowe of course – true RINO’s). This week, the administration has set forth, yet again, to squash any attempt by the Republican side of the aisle to vet and control any of the President’s social engineering and lax national security agenda items.
Early this past week, on the issue of Bush administration terrorist interrogations, the administration coyly announced that they were in favor of moving on and looking to the future.
“As a general deal, I think that we should be looking forward and not backwards,” he said. “I do worry about this getting so politicized that we cannot function effectively, and it hampers our ability to carry out national security operations.”
President Obama is not all that worried about it, as he has already dismantled many safeguards that President Bush put into place that have kept the nation safe for 8 years.
However, in the next breath, the President said he would leave it up the the U.S. AG, Mr Holder, caving into the left wing fringe of Moveon.org and George Soros.
Second, came the announcement that the President, Steny Hoyer and Nancy Pelosi will once again railroad the people of the United States by shoving a health care reform measure down our throats with no debate or filibuster:
If the coffin needs a final nail, it will come if Democrats decide to fast-track Obama’s legislative priorities through a budget maneuver known as “reconciliation.”
Democrats in the House and Senate agreed Friday on a budget framework that would protect Obama’s health care plan from a Republican filibuster using the tactic.
Republicans and some Democrats oppose reconciliation because it would prevent a long debate on what they consider complex issues.
If that is what the Obama Administration refers to as ‘transparent’ government, then I guess the Mississippi River is as clear as the Caribbean Sea. This is social engineering being plied to and paid for by the American Tax Payer.
Social, economic, and national security issues are being debated by elitists who have not gotten dirt under their fingernails since they were 7 years old playing in the back yard. They, many who have no experience in either the defense industry or the military, are making decisions regarding enhanced interrogation techniques. The issues specific to interrogations and national security were vetted and approved by lawyers, congressional leaders (Nancy Pelosi included), and administration officials. However, the Dems, Moveon.org, and Soros are foaming at the mouth to begin their witch hunt.
Democrats have focused their laser on Federal Judge Jay Bybee. Judge Bybee was one of the lawyers who approved the enhanced interrogation techniques. Democrats wanting to criminalize lawyers who give legal opinion on administration policy is absolute nonsense. What lawyer in their right mind is going to do anything for an administration if 5 or 8 years later some hell-bent blow-hard Senator (Leahy) wants to make a big media splash to keep his funding from Soros and Moveon.org going? The answer: no one worth his salt. We will never get a valued A.G. or White House council again (not that the dems have produced any decent A.G.’s….I mean Janet Reno, Eric Holder…puh-leeze).
It will also further erode our ability to gather pertinant intelligence about terror plots and organizations. These groups will now be able to train for what the Army field manual specifies, since it is a general unclassified publication. These actions will further put doubts into the minds of DoD personnel charged with gathering the intel as to what may be laying ahead if they proceed with interrogations. They will be scared and it will further embolden an enemy who’s main objective is to kill Americans.
Finally, it will so polarize the congress that nothing is ever going to get accomplished. I guess what the Democrats meant by reaching across the aisle was ”shut up, we won.” The country will not stand for this, as demonstrated on April, 15th. These liberals are digging themselves a hole and just may see some wholesale changes in the Congress come 2010; one can hope.

“Michele Bachmann, a Republican Congresswoman from east-central Minnesota, has some fighting words for President Obama’s energy plans.”
**Yeah, it is called – Take this plan and shove it, we ain’t payin’ here no more!**
“According to the Smart Politics blog at the University of Minnesota’s Center for the Study of Politics and Governance, Ms. Bachmann, when asked about President Obama’s cap-and-trade plans on a local radio station last Saturday, responded:
I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, “Having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,” and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.”
**A little revolution is good every know and again!!**
“Ms. Bachmann also expressed some skepticism on global warming, saying, “The science is on our side on this one, and the science indicates that human activity is not the cause of all this global warming. And that in fact, nature is the cause, with solar flares, etc.”
It’s not the first time that Ms. Bachmann has expressed skepticism about climate change, and her latest comments are reminiscent of Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe, who has accused Mr. Obama of perpetrating “environmental thuggery.”
**This issue has been proven time and again. These Envio Nazis seek only to blame people for global warming and try to create hysteria in order to meet their objectives.**
“Her views were also echoed earlier this month by Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, who asserted in a radio appearance: “We are cooling. We are not warming.””
“However, Ms. Bachmann seems supportive of the energy revolution taking place on Minnesota’s own soil. “We must look beyond our traditional sources of energy to diversify our supply and find innovative solutions to help protect the environment,” her Web site says.”
“Indeed, Minnesota has aggressively pushed for the development of clean energy. The state currently requires diesel fuel to be blended with 2 percent biodiesel, and is soon to raise the “blend radio” to 5 percent. Minnesota also will require 25 percent of its electricity to come from renewable sources by 2025.”"

Back when I was in college; around the same time paper was invented, I studied conspiracy theories and the New World Order. I even wrote a thesis on the subject; most of which I have since forgotten. However, as I opened my newspaper this morning (ok, I turned on my computer but the visual isn’t as compelling) I felt a familiar pang in my gut.
The past two weeks have been filled with the stimulus bill and the ramming of every ludicrous liberal agenda item into it. Hardly noticed, except by the viligant, has been talks of reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine (aka., censorship); an unprecedented move by the White House to oversee the 2010 census (congressional districts are determined by the census); and now I am reading the NSC is undergoing a sweeping overhaul “expanding its membership and increasing its authority to set strategy across a wide spectrum of international and domestic issues.”
I don’t know if I should be afraid or if I should go into counseling for paranoia. But, I do know that my gut is telling me something hinkey is going on. Our government is on track to expand it’s reach into our businesses, homes, lives, and yes even thoughts in a way never before seen in our nation’s history. For the past 8 years I have been afraid of terrorists and the possibility of another attack on our soil. Today, I am afraid of our government and its ongoing attack on us. Or, maybe I should add some Bailey’s to my coffee and just chill.

The man who will set terrorists free in a neighborhood near you
02/03/09
With the swearing in of Eric Holder today as the Attorney General, the safety of America is in jeopardy. At the top of his agenda, according to the AP, is to decide “which Bush administration counterterrorism policies to reverse.” In addition, he will also “play a major role in the future of terrorism detainees.” He is creating a special panel that will report back to the President in 180 days on options for apprehension, detention, trial, transfer or release of detainees. You can bet that Holder will also be looking to overturn the warrantless surveillance program.
So, it doesn’t take a Harvard degree or thousands of dollars in tax evasion to figure out that this administration is seriously putting us at risk. The President doesn’t care about us like a father cares for his children. Oh wait, maybe he does. His father deserted him and now he is deserting us.
Go buy your guns now before only your neighborhood terrorists have guns.
