Chicago's Federal Plaza this afternoon, where the Tax Day Tea Party took place, then be there at 1:00pm for a cap-and-trade protest.

Do you guys think all these local protests will have an impact? I think just like the tea parties, it is easy to dismiss a couple thousand of us locally. I want all of us to drive to Washington, DC the day they try to pass this thing and shut the city down.

Yeah, I think the most effective would be a massive march on DC.. the day this cap and trade thing is up for debate in the senate.

I would love to! Trying to mobilize thousands of hard working people to storm DC has proven to be a rather difficult task. We tried when it was in the House but folks have to work. Any ideas, plans, thought, suggestions will be welcomed.
